1. First check the charger status: Ensure the charger is powered on (indicator light on), the plug is securely connected to the cart’s charging receptacle/battery terminals, and check for corrosion or burn marks on the plug/receptacle;
2. Verify voltage compatibility: Make sure the charger voltage matches the battery voltage (e.g., 36V charger for 36V battery, 48V charger for 48V battery);
3. Check BMS protection status: If the battery triggers BMS protection due to over-discharge, high/low temperature, let the battery sit in a 59-95°F (15-35°C) environment for 1-2 hours before attempting to charge again;
4. Inspect wiring and fuses: Check for damaged, broken wires in the charging circuit and blown fuses—replace if necessary;
5. Troubleshoot the battery: If it still doesn’t charge after the above steps, there may be an internal battery fault. Contact us or the dealers after-sales for testing.
